The Fellow will receive training and develop methodologies in natural pest regulation for the Indian context. The output will be an implemented participatory research program in the state of Tripura, This will: 1) strengthen on-going work conserving pollinators in India (currently compromised by the use of chemical pesticides); 2) improve farmer facility to manage pest populations which reduce crop yield and quality. The Fellow will work with the host organisation to produce a review of North / South efforts to conserve ecosystem services and produce a policy document highlighting shared understanding to improve policy implemented by the Government of Tripura.
