María de la Luz Ruiz Maqueda (Luz) will study for an MSc in Plant Diversity. She will further develop skills in project design, data collection and analysis, and analytical and writing skills. She will finalise her publications in order to disseminate research findings of the original Darwin project, and contribute to the project’s continued development through her research project. The award of a higher degree will help to lever funds for related doctoral thesis work. The fellowship will last for one year from October 2010 and will be based at the University of Reading’s Centre for Plant Diversity and Systematics.
