Summary
to explore the contribution of ethnobiological knowledge to local livelihood options for San and Bakgalagadi (Tswana-speaking) communities living in and around protected areas in the Central Kalahari, Botswana. In doing so, we hope to promote local environmental knowledge and natural resource management initiatives, and collectively address the issue of integrated conservation and development for Botswana’s remote rural populations.
