1.a. ICD collaborative research project designed and implemented to improve effectiveness of ICD interventions in Bwindi on the basis of historical and current survey data on drivers of resource use .
1.b. Dissemination of the research findings and recommendations on conservation through poverty alleviation.
2. Capacity Building for Policy Reform - U-PCLG capacity developed for promoting improved governance of natural resources and greater equity in conservation policy.
3. Capacity Building for Improved Conservation Practice - Ugandan project partners’ capabilities in applied conservation research developed through their collaboration on the research project.
