This project mitigates immediate threats to Anlung Pring Protected Landscape by providing short-term support to those who may otherwise have no option but to return to unsustainable use of the wetland, and builds resilience into the previously flourishing ecotourism venture which has been severely impacted by a collapse in international tourism. Without this support, it is likely that the ecotourism scheme will be forced to close, and the link between maintaining a healthy wetland and generating funds will be lost.
